Discograph is a typeface that feels like a party: it evokes beams of light bouncing off a disco ball, fringe waving from a flapper dress, or the delicate veins of a flower petal, blowing in the wind. At the same time, it carries the joy and tactility of drawing: the personality of Discograph comes from the graphic, dynamic, jittery, textural energy of the designer’s sketchbook. Emerging from its monolinear construction lines are forms teetering on the edge of legibility, and each letter carries a kind of optical illusion, a smudginess like graphite fingerprints left behind on paper. This typeface is here to convey bold and celebratory messages, inspiring people to move, create, and express themselves.
