Temporary structures, which can be constructed and removed within a short period, can offer new kinds of possibilities for the neighborhood. The exact timespan of each structure is dependent on the function of the program, as well as the willingness of the local citizens. The theater, for example, may only serve to shelter one performance from touring band and before it’s removed.
