Our intervention redefines the relationship between nature, architecture, and technology to change people’s perspective on the physical presence of death. Existing barriers are breached, and the cemetery is reintroduced into urbanity. We designed two vessels within an expandable system, one for an individual or a few individuals, and one for a medium-size group. Their purpose is to distill the outside environment to a form which can directly connect with the senses, which is why we decided on a translucent plastic composite with an integrated thin substructure. The secondary purpose of the vessels is to directly upload the information learned by the ai back to the main servers.
