Our project addresses Newburgh as a food desert by proposing an integrated network intervention that takes place in two futures. The design for the near future connects the local businesses in Newburgh by intervening in shared property lots to create interlocking communal spaces. The design for the distant future provides connections throughout the regional agricultural network by gradually introducing a food processing and learning center.
