This project aims to serve the local demographics by minimizing private space and maximizing public space. Instead of typical one-to-two bedrooms, this project has micro-units. Each micro unit is equipped with a wet wall providing possible flexibility for residents who want more privacy. Every third or fourth unit accompanies a public living-room, kitchen and bathroom. The whole complex also has a daycare, community center, gym, public library, a senior center, and laundry facilities. The arrangement of micro units also allows for possible expansion if a person decides to start a family and needs more space later in life to accommodate different needs. The use of micro units not only enhances community bond but also make it more affordable.
