The project aims to balance the integration between the industrial demands of a large-scale truck stop with 90 parking spaces and a sustainable design proposal that merges infrastructure with the dessert landscape here in the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center. The objective can be achieved by playing with current topographic situations to sustain a flat space for truck parking and circulation while developing recursive volumes interlocking one another above with firm supports of long-span structural systems to make sure the building mechanism works well for the concept of camouflage architecture.
