The Northern Arapaho Twin Embassy is a platform of sovereign visibility and a channel for political and cultural exchange for the Northern Arapaho tribe. The meiosis of the embassy across both Wyoming and D.C. facilitates a network for tribe engagement in statewide and nationwide politics as well as in a post-commodity initiative in retrieving Arapaho artefacts. Specifically enacted by preserving the Arapaho spoken language and developing a cycle of reciprocity between each component of the embassy and its host nation. With minimal intrusion into the earth, the conical forms beacon the permanence and resilience of the tribe while the flexible space-frame that encompasses it rises above the cartesian imposition and definition of space that has previously colonised native land. The space-frame is used to support more temporary as well as permanent developments to the embassy made by the tribe for seasonal, ceremonial, cultural, and political events.
