With the resurgence of the traditional building material, timber this project asks: how will our spatial interface and therefore, lifestyles, change? The Automorphic City signals a new sustainable architecture and acknowledges a city’s paradoxically transformative and conservationist motives by assuming a neo-metabolist movement that is hyper-flexible and hyper-modular, consisting of self-shaped timber components.
