A site for a new form of agricultural knowledge, our proposal takes over the former IBM manufacturing facility and EPA Superfund site outside of Kingston, NY. The engagement with the hyperlocal conditions of the contaminated site subverts a tradition of technological production holding hegemonic value over the land it occupies. Instead, this project imagines a campus that manifests a mutualistic relationship between ecological processes and digital technology to remediate the site and adapt it for agricultural use.
