Reservoir is a project that transforms Tomkins Cove Quarry from a geological site of industrial extraction into a water reservoir and hydro-electric facility. Re-inserted into New York’s fragile infrastructural networks, the quarry becomes a monument to its historical legacy and casts contrast between its infrastructure and fragmented (outdoors retreat) landscape.
