This project proposes an urban zoo by using the natural resources of Newburgh and by adapting the city’s abandoned houses. This zoo would educate and allow people to observe animals and nature, while animals would also have new opportunities to adapt to the city. Therefore, this project proposes a hybrid form of habitats for both humans and animals. In the future, this hybrid habitat could become a prototype for re-inhabiting abandoned houses and for revitalizing the city.
