This project reimagines the northernmost edge of Morningside Park, transforming rocky and steep terrain that separates multiple public schools into a dual-level, occupiable, schoolyard. This landscape allows for navigation of the park’s topography on one level, while fiberoptic threads cast in concrete create a child-sized subterranean condition below.
