Melrow Housing examines the clustering of row house-inspired units, which are creating porosity with courtyards and thoroughfares, encouraging moments of interaction with the existing site, and reflecting the scale of Melrose’s urban environment. The basement acts as the connective tissue of the project, interlinking the seemingly fragmented clusters on the ground.
