Concurrent Center for Democracy

Democracy is a word derived from the term politics but it can also be used in the context of sports. My project proposes a democracy between sports and politics. I translate democracy by designing different ways of watching sports and thinking about how two or more programs related to sports could happen simultaneously, enabling players, the general public, and politicians to interact. I refer to this as visual democracy, a translation from events to architectural space.
