The Immanent Resource School adapts the old P.S. 64 with a different relationship to resources and carbon and an awareness of circulations and flows in both container and curriculum. My physical operations were conducted with the guiding principle that as much material as possible should not leave the site and that all material introduced necessarily in the process of adaptation should remain on the site. Areas of the building were strategically removed to allow more light to enter. Removed material was reconstituted into a number of localized and building-wide interventions. All together, circulations and behaviors of a different intent can emanate from the school in operation.
