Flowing School

In the 20th century, X-ray examined the body’s physical essence. Nowadays, fMRI measures brain activity by detecting changes associated with blood flow. This evolution in the understanding of human beings inspired consideration of student behaviors and programs as the tool to reshape the floor slabs. The existing school is a perfectly standardized “adult-sized” building, students’ sensations are compromised. The spatial variation of programs and dynamic movements of students reconfigured the school’s interior. The new typography brings windows and nature to everyone within the school while it serves as active motion triggers to foster neural diversity.
