The WHO (World Health Organization) estimates that one million healthy life spans have been cut short annually in Western Europe, due to traffic-related noise alone. The WFAE (World Forum for Acoustic Ecology) is dedicated to spreading awareness of the importance of soundscape by publishing journals, holding exhibitions, and hosting conferences. WFAE Headquarters is a vault for vanishing soundscapes from nature, and uses herbs to disperse the value of soundscape.
