Join an actively engaged cohort in providing leadership for major alumni initiatives. Class Representatives serve as important liaisons between each program’s peers and the school. Regional Ambassadors serve as global points of contact for GSAPP students, faculty, and alumni traveling to their respective regions. Please see the form below for nomination information.

CLASS REPRESENTATIVES

Serve as an important liaison between your program peers and the school.

Tuesday Talks provides GSAPP students with the opportunity to engage with the wider alumni community for informative mentorship during the fall semester. This program pairs current students with alumni professionals for hour-long, one-on-one discussions on career development. Alumni mentors are welcome to participate in the program at their discretion.

To volunteer as a mentor, send a note to gsappalumni@columbia.edu with your job title, company name, and location.

Be a global point of contact for GSAPP students, faculty, and alumni traveling to your region.

Stay connected with Columbia University alumni through regional and shared interest groups. Check out which GSAPP alumni are CAA club leaders here.

Become matched with a student to help them explore their career interests over the course of one academic year.

Alumni Conversations: join us to share your professional story in a small group, 1 hour format. Present your experience and answer questions from students and alumni.

Tuesday Talks: On select Tuesdays from 9–10 am (time zone based on the alumnus location), up to 20 alumni will be matched with a student to speak informally about career development and the current conditions of the profession. Participate once or as many times as you wish.

SPECIAL EVENTS

Host a cultivation event for alumni and friends or join a host committee for a GSAPP fundraising event.
