Buildings and Almost Buildings
Eric Bunge and Mimi Hoang
Response by Amale Andraos

Is architecture inherently complete? Or is it a state of incompletion and seeming inadequacy that incites us to imagine architecture as an armature for an ever-changing daily life? Eric Bunge and Mimi Hoang will share their recent work and book - Buildings and Almost Buildings- anti-monograph with a subtle manifesto about the open-ended, incomplete, and ambiguous in architecture.

nARCHITECTS has been honored with an American Academy of Arts and Letters Award in Architecture, an AIA NYS Firm of the Year Award and AIANY’s Andrew J. Thomson Award for Pioneering in Housing. Mimi Hoang coordinates Core II Architecture Studio and Eric Bunge teaches in the Housing Studio at Columbia GSAPP.
