GSAPP All Alumni Party

Join us on Friday, June 13, from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. for the 2025 GSAPP All Alumni Party, the largest alumni event of the year! Open to graduates of all programs and classes, this year’s party will be held at The Refinery at Domino. Ruchika Modi ‘06 M.Arch of PAU spearheaded the design.

The Refinery at Domino
The Refinery at Domino is a historic architectural innovation, transforming a 19th-century manufacturing facility into an unparalleled masterpiece with state-of-the-art office amenities. Opened in 2023, the building offers 460,000 rentable square feet of office space, a triple-height atrium lobby, exceptional amenities, acclaimed ground-floor retailers, and unmatched access to the Williamsburg waterfront at Domino Park and leading local retailers.

Ruchika Modi '06 M.Arch
Ruchika Modi, Principal at PAU, has a diverse background in industrial design, economics, and journalism, enriching her architectural practice. Her experiences in cities like Mumbai, New Delhi, and San Francisco contribute to her insight into urban planning, inspiring her to address sustainability and inequality through architecture. Before PAU, Modi was a Senior Associate at Standard Architects and co-founded Studio r&star in New York City. She also worked with Smith-Miller + Hawkinson Architects. She earned her M.Arch from Columbia GSAPP, where she received multiple accolades, including the Charles McKim Prize and the Saul Kaplan Traveling Fellowship. Additionally, she holds a BA in economics from the University of Delhi and a BA in interior architecture from the California College of Arts. Her work has been showcased at prominent venues such as the Center for Architecture in New York and international biennales.
