This is Poughkeepsie’s Fall Kill

Fri, Aug 18, 2017    5pm

Join Columbia GSAPP’s Urban Design students and faculty for an exhibition of the results of their Hudson Valley Summer Workshop, where they have been exploring and documenting Poughkeepsie’s Fall Kill as part of the Hudson Valley Initiative.

The exhibition includes stories of the creek’s long history, its ecology, the causes of its pollution, and its surrounding neighborhood. Residents and the general public are welcome to bring their own photos and join the conversation. All original content will be returned at the exhibition’s conclusion.

For more information contact the Hudson Valley Design Lab at Hvdl@mass-group.org and Friends of the Fall Kill at friendsofthefallkill@gmail.com or by phone 845-473-4003.

Free and open to the public.
Organized by Columbia GSAPP’s Urban Design Program.
