Cultural Collaterals
Columbia GSAPP co-presents a symposium at Dubai Design Week that brings together architects, designers, curators, and critics to speculate and evaluate the critical role of art and architecture in shaping cities through design—globally, regionally, and locally, in Dubai.
Following an opening conversation, “Cultural Infrastructure: Critical perspectives on cultural institutions”, the symposium will unfold in two parts through two panel discussions, “Capital Construction: Architecture as a strategy, to build cultural capital in an evolving context” and “Cultural Confluences: Curating a local design culture & dialogue, through global perspectives”.
