Specializing in real estate and corporate finance, Chok has over 14 years of
experience across roles in real estate development, investment management,
mergers & acquisitions and capital markets.
Previously, Chok was the Chief Investment Officer at an investment firm
overseeing over $150 million of real estate projects in New York and
Connecticut. Prior professional experience includes investment, analytics, and
managerial roles at Pretium Partners, a real estate and mortgage investment
manager with over $50 billion AUM. He began his career in investment banking
at J.P. Morgan, covering real estate, industrial, and energy companies.
Chok graduated with honors from Baruch College with a BBA in Finance &
Investments, along with an MS in Real Estate Development from Columbia
GSAPP, where he currently teaches real estate financial modeling. In addition,
Chok is the current Co-Chair of the Real Estate Network of the Columbia Alumni
Association, and has served in the United States Marine Corps.
