Eva Hagberg

Eva Hagberg is an Adjunct Assistant Professor and writer in New York. She holds a BA in Architecture from Princeton University, an MS in Architecture (History + Theory) from UC Berkeley, and a PhD in Visual and Narrative Culture from UC Berkeley. Her academic work focuses on theoretical and historical approaches to publicity as a mode of architectural production, and she has taught writing seminars, wide-ranging food courses, and architectural history surveys. She is the recipient of UC Berkeley’s Outstanding Graduate Student Instructor award. Outside academia, she is an architectural critic, essayist, and book author, most recently of the critically-acclaimed memoir How To Be Loved. She lives in Brooklyn.
