Adjunct Assistant Professor

Ray Wang is a project architect with The Living and a principal research scientist with Autodesk Research.

His work and research with The Living has been published and exhibited in a variety of venues including Wired, Architectural Record, MoMA, and the Centre Pompidou. He recently completed an interactive exhibition and pavilion for the Smithsonian Museum in Washington, DC, exploring ways that artificial intelligence could help communities co-design diverse urban spaces of the future.

In addition to working on architectural projects across the United States, Ray also has extensive project experience in Canada and China.

Ray’s work investigates how advances in technologies can open up new modes of communicating architectural ideas and narratives, with a focus on generative design, real-time visualizations, interactive experiences, and bio-sensing. He is a graduate of and serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Columbia University GSAPP.
