Christin Hu

christin hu is a nonbinary designer, educator, and organizer trained in landscape architecture and architecture. They were born and are currently based in Lenapehoking (New York City, NY). Through accessible workshops for collaborative design and playful liberation-based learning, they help others build genuine relationships with one another and our shared environments.

christin co-organizes within the Design as Protest Collective and Dark Matter U. Their practices of urban farming, martial arts, and online community facilitation are grounded in Chinglish histories, plant care, and an abundance of tasty ancestral foods.

They have previously taught at The City College of New York Spitzer School of Architecture and Cornell University College of Agricultural Sciences, and concurrently teach at Columbia GSAPP and Pratt Institute Undergraduate Architecture. They hold an MLA from Harvard GSD and BArch from The City College of New York.
