Shaishav Agarwal is a Managing Director and Global Head of Capital Markets, CRE at Deutsche Bank. He joined Deutsche Bank in 2005 from Banc of America Securities. Formerly, he was Vice President, CMBS Structuring at Banc of America Securities.
Mr. Shaishav began his banking career at DSP Merrill Lynch in 2000. Shaishav joined the debt capital markets division of Merill Lynch and was responsible for Debt Origination and Sales. During his stay at Merrill, he did several path-breaking debt transactions inducing a first-ever partial-Guarantee Debt deal for Ballarpur Industries and Bharti telecom. The Debt was partially guaranteed (guarantee being on partial tenor rather than the amount) by IFC to help corporates in emerging markets raise debt capital successfully and cheaply.
Shaishav has been with CRE, Deutsche Bank for over 19 years and currently heads the capital markets globally. He manages securitization and syndication of CRE whole loans, CRE CLOs, SFR, Agency CMBS, and other CRE-related transactions. His experience ranges from Underwriting & Rating Agency analysis to Structuring, Pricing, and Distribution of CRE loans, CDOs, and Correlation trades.
