Robert Herrmann

Adjunct Professor

Robert F. Herrmann, a Principal and Chair of the Construction Practice Group in the New York City law firm Offit Kurman, P.A., acts as counsel to a number of architects, interior designers, owners and contractors. Bob is a graduate of Yale College and Columbia Law School, and a professional affiliate of the New York City Chapter of the American Institute of Architects. He has led numerous seminars for design professionals on a variety of topics. He is on the American Arbitration Association and New York State Court panels of construction mediators. In addition to being an Adjunct Professor at Columbia GSAPP, Bob has also been a guest speaker in professional practice classes at the University of Pennsylvania, City College, Pratt Institute, Parsons and the New York Institute of Technology. He is the lead author of Law for Architects: What You Need to Know, published by W.W. Norton.
