A recreational center including climbing, gym, and retails is proposed at Hudson Square cooperating with water infrastructure. The project aims to solve the issue of overfloods in NYC during the rainy season, and Hudson Square has long been affected by the problem, which makes it a perfect place to situate the project. The center area is used for rainwater storage collecting from the street and also directly from the sky. The space in between the facade and the water cistern is a climbing area, which creates a secret circulation for only climbers. Colors, Spaces, and programs behind the wall attract and lead the visitors meandering through the building.
