In the future, people no longer travel by airplane. Instead, they use eco-friendly sailboats that harness wind and solar power. Yachts are no longer luxurious vessels for a few; they become public transportation, carrying multiple cabins across the sea for weeks. During these journeys, people live in small cabins, working, sleeping, and going about their daily lives and feeling the waves.
The terminal’s program is expanded to include activities that support long-distance travelers.
This space is designed as a forest wrapped in a transparent shell. People who have spent a long time in the confined space of a boat can feel refreshed when they arrive. they can move according to their needs: resting or working in the shelters within the forest. Those coming for meetings with the UN can go straight to the office space through the forest. Travelers tired from long journeys can spend time in the hotel until their next boat departs through the waiting room.
