Project by Jiayan Li
Through the plan, axonometric, and section drawings, I am focusing on water as the primary element shaping the site. The stream creates habitat for birds, squirrels, and geese while also structuring how people move around and experience the landscape. Water often produces a distance in human interaction—seen more as a view or backdrop—yet it also invites moments of gathering, conversation, and family activity along its edges. My drawings document these layered relationships, showing how water circulates through the site as both an ecological system and a social connector between people and their environment.
