Fragile Permanence - Weaving the Invisible

Project by Chiucham Kwam

In an era defined by rapid consumption, our memories are continually overwritten. Busy routines and the constant influx of new experiences reshape how we perceive the world, allowing even once-close relationships to drift into distance. The everyday objects around us—disposable goods, groceries, and ordinary supplies—quietly accumulate personal meaning. They anchor us to specific moments, places, and phases of life, becoming subtle markers of time. Yet they are also the first to fade from memory, dissolving into the background.
