Repair Club

“A new society needs an spatial translation. This is the starting point for the new typology of the Repair Club: a place where the future repair society is already being lived out. At the heart of the project is the Repair Café: a commercial-free community event where volunteers and craftsmen come together to repair broken items (appliances, clothing, furniture) alongside their owners. True to the principle of helping people to help themselves. Built from old wind turbine towers, the club tells a story of transformation itself - one that others are yet to write within it.”
