Architecture is an organization of materials that are built and assembled into a stable structure. Adopting a slightly different perspective, we asked: How many elements can be eliminated until the building is seen as an unstable structure or, furthermore, inadequate for being defined programmatically as private or public spaces? This project was approached and developed in a way whereas we (architects) interpreted and tackled the somewhat simple organization of “stacking” using a different perspective, defining spaces that can adequately fulfill the needs of ‘soft boundaries’ typical of today’s work environments and lifestyles within given barriers.
