This project addresses vacant public and private lots in Jersey City and Hoboken where the population density is extremely high and the site is vulnerable to flooding. The design solution proposes temporary pop-up spaces on privately-owned land (until long-term structures are realized) and permanent structures to address flash flood challenges on publicly owned lots.
