The project re-imagines Newburgh’s energy paradigm of historically flood-prone natural gas plants along the Hudson river by producing an amphibious energy facility that inhabits the river’s edge. The living lab is constructed of and constructs wind turbines of multiple scales that are dispersed through the town.
