East Kingston Quarries/ Neo Natural Field Stations

Kingston, New York is a mosaic of decommissioned 20th-century material extraction sites that have grown into homes for new yet underrecognized ecological systems. Challenging the traditional notion of picturesque nature, the proposal unites sites of human exploitation and emerging ecologies in a series of field stations dedicated to exploring new nature arising from anthropocenic activity.
