This project consists of a structure that provides animal and human solace both within and outside of it. As a retreat in the form of a traditional “jimjilbang”, it exposes visitors to local nonhuman species in a personal environment. The structure transforms itself to reclaim obsolete human infrastructure and absorbs it. The fractured habitat returns to the animals’ ownership.
