ME School (School for Minor Exuberance)

The word minor has multiple meanings. It can relate to a minor key in music, or race and ethnicity, but also to minor age and something that is “lesser” and deemed not as important. The ME School (School for Minor Exuberance) brings the children to the forefront. The space is designed around the exuberance and sense of wonder in a child. The building brings the city to the scale of a child where the fabric of the city is pulled into the building as seen on the façade cracks folding inwards and as one experiences the interior “city-like” atmosphere.
