We are pleased to be honoring Johnny Din ‘14 MSRED and Andy Golubitsky '13 MSAUD, '14 MSRED with the 2023 MSRED Distinguished Alumnus Award. The annual Distinguished Alumnus Award celebrates an alumnus of the Columbia MSRED program who is a leader in the real estate industry and has demonstrated a strong commitment and service to Columbia.

About the Honorees
Johnny Din '14 MSRED
Johnny Din is the Chief Executive Officer of Cycamore Capital, a vertically-integrated real estate investment and development platform based in New York City. Previously, he was an investment professional at Clarett International and Silverpeak Real Estate Partners. Johnny began his career in the Investment Banking Division of Lehman Brothers, where he advised fortune 500 companies and private equity clients on M&A and financing efforts.
Johnny graduated honors with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics from the University of California Los Angeles, and a Riordan MBA Fellow from the UCLA Anderson School of Management. He holds a Certificate in Hotel Operations from New York University and a Master of Science in Real Estate Development from Columbia University, where he was the President of the MSRED Student Council, a Pension Real Estate Association Scholar, a Wells Fargo GDS Scholar, a William Kinne Fellow, and a recipient of the Scholastic Performance Award given to the top 3 graduates.
Johnny was named a Committee of 100 Next Generation Leader, a Crain’s New York Business Rising Star in Real Estate, a Connect Media Next Generation Honoree, and a NYREJ Executive of the Month. He is a Board Member of UCLA REAG, MBAofNY Scholarship Foundation, AREAA Manhattan, and Career Day USA. Johnny is also an adjunct professor at Columbia University, Graduate School of Architecture, Planning & Preservation; New York University, Schack Institute of Real Estate; and Fordham University, Real Estate Institute.
Andy Golubitsky '13 MSAUD, '14 MSRED
Andy Golubitsky is a real estate development professional in New York City with 15 years of experience in several gateway and secondary markets throughout the United States. Prior to founding Astral, a fully integrated real estate development and firm, and APRE, a real estate development consultancy, Andy held positions at Macklowe Properties and Douglaston Development, where he led the development of multiple residential, retail, and hotel properties.
Prior to his career in real estate development, Andy practiced architecture in Boston, New York, Moscow, Kuwait, Istanbul, and Port-au-Prince, having worked on projects including large-scale master plan mixed-use communities, healthcare facilities, data centers, student housing, luxury, and affordable multi-family projects, private residences, and commercial interiors.
Andy holds a Master of Science in Real Estate Development as well as Urban Design from Columbia University, and a Bachelor of Architecture from Syracuse University. Andy is a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) accredited professional and an adjunct assistant professor at Columbia University.
