Dr. Johnny Din is the Chief Executive Officer of Cycamore Capital, a vertically-integrated real estate investment and development platform based in New York City. Previously, he was an investment professional at Clarett International and Silverpeak Real Estate Partners. Johnny began his career in the Investment Banking Division of Lehman Brothers, where he advised Fortune 500 companies and private equity clients on M&A and financing efforts.
Johnny holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics from University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), and a Riordan MBA Fellow from UCLA Anderson School of Management. He holds a Master of Science in Real Estate Development (MSRED) from Columbia GSAPP, where he was the President of the MSRED Student Council, a Pension Real Estate Association Scholar, a Wells Fargo GDS Scholar, a William Kinne Fellow, and a recipient of the Scholastic Performance Award given to the top three graduates. In addition, Johnny holds a Doctor of Education from University of Southern California.
Johnny was named a Committee of 100 Next Generation Leaders, a Crain’s New York Business Rising Star in Real Estate, a Connect Media Next Generation Honoree, and a recipient of the Distinguished Alumnus Award given by the Columbia MSRED Program.
Johnny is a Board Member of UCLA REAG, MBAofNY Scholarship Foundation, AREAA Manhattan, and Career Day USA. He is also an adjunct professor at Columbia GSAPP; New York University, Schack Institute of Real Estate; and Fordham University, Real Estate Institute.
To recognize his parents’ dedication to his education, Johnny endowed the William and Eileen Din Family Fund at Columbia University to award the Din family Scholar Prize given annually to the student with the highest academic achievement in the Columbia MSRED program.
