Biographies
Ammar Khammash is the founder of Khammash Architects started in the late 1980’s. Early projects focused on restoration and renovation of historic sites as well as interventions within cultural and natural heritage sites. The office later expanded and became involved in numerous projects in Jordan, Oman, Palestine, Egypt, Syria and the UAE, ranging from master planning and urban design to sustainable tourism and destination design. Projects include hotels and lodges, restaurants, museums and interpretation centers, institutional and educational buildings, residential projects and interior design.
Mehmet Kütükçüoğlu is a partner of Teget Architecture. He received a bachelors degree from Middle East Technical University (METU) Department of Architecture and a masters from SCI-Arc. Kütükçüoğlu has lectured at SCI-Arc, METU, Yildiz Technical University, and Istanbul Technical University. He is a member of the Board of Directors in Bilgi University Master Degree Programme in Architecture. He has written articles about cities and architecture in various publications.
Ertuğ Uçar is a partner of Teget Architecture, He received bachelors and masters degrees from Middle East Technical University (METU) Department of Architecture. He has been a lecturer, tutor, and jury member at various schools, lecturing at Yildiz Technical University and Istanbul Technical University. He has written on cities and architecture in various publications and published three books on the subject.
