Adrian Silver

Adrian Silver is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Columbia University, where he teaches a course on building decarbonization.

Adrian is currently a Carbon Strategist at Carbon Direct, where he helps companies measure, reduce, and remove their greenhouse gas emissions.

Previously, Adrian worked at CodeGreen Solutions and Carbon Lighthouse, where he partnered with commercial real estate investors to initiate over $5mm of energy efficiency retrofits across the US.

Adrian graduated with a BA in Urban Studies from Columbia University. He serves on the Board of Directors for two non-profits: Community Impact, which is Columbia University’s largest community service organization, and the Groupmuse Foundation, whose mission is to make classical music more diverse and inclusive. He also co- founded Out in Climate, a community of LGBTQ+ professionals working in the climate tech sector.
