We decided on a 200-foot buffer around highlighted intersections and visualized the spatial temporal distribution of sever collisions in NYC and the study area. After identifying six potential environmental factors, we performed spatial join and averaging within study areas and investigated the correlation between the number of incidents and the physical environmental factors.
