The goal of this proposal is to address the lack of physical representations of environmental justice activism history throughout our study area. The proposal involves the design of a gathering and exhibit area at the entrance pathway to the 135th Street Marine Transfer Station. The design seeks to complement recent resolutions on the reuse of the Marine Transfer Station by the West Harlem Environmental Action (WE ACT).
