What is the future of skyscrapers? As population grows, the demand for services increases. And, in a city like New York, there is nowhere to go but up. This prismatic glass tower aims to challenge the typical skyscraper typology into a solution-driven mechanism capable of housing diverse neighborhoods and the services required for these citizens to leave a fully varied life without having to leave the tower. Each neighborhood and working area is developed around public spaces; the building encompasses three different mechanisms that rise through a green band to create the illusion of free transit inside of the tower similar to that of a city. Education, pharmacies, post offices, and grocery stores are complemented by sports facilities, bars, and a cinema. Are we in a skyscraper or in Tribeca? There is no need to leave the tower.
